Dave got a call last night from his class adviser letting us know he will be attaching to 192 - The World Famous Golden Dragons based in Atsugi, Japan.
We are now taking reservations for visits, inquire within!
We don't know much of anything yet, except that Dave will be leaving for Japan at the end of Feburary. Our tentative plan is that I will stick around doing something (?) while Dave secures housing, and that I will join him in late April, early May.

That's an awesome picture: there's a COD in it! Oh, and some kind of cool mountain or something. ;-) Seriously, we're thrilled for you both, and I can't wait to hear about your impending adventures.
Bring carpet or big rugs! We bought two pieces of remnant carpet at Ollie's (it's on Princess Anne in Norfolk near a David's Bridal and Office Max). On base housing is vinyl flooring for the most part. You can look at the floor plans online to see how big of pieces to buy and then just have it shipped with your HHG. It is way cheaper in the states than at the Home Stores here.
Just think, when you have done this a few times, you can write a book/blog/etc.
