Christmas with the Wrigleys

After an it-could-have-been-worse trip, we finally made it to Memphis, arriving at 1030pm, instead of 630pm. We spent three relaxing days in Olive Branch, doing lots of cool things like reading ;) We had a great 96-hours of leave, marred only by the fact I broke my back on the morning of the 26th. All I did was bend down to pick up jeans, and three days later i'm still stuck. Luckily Jenny was my pharmacist. I'll be going into Sick Call tomorrow morning. Otherwise, we thoroughly enjoyed hanging out with everyone.

Tom, a very pregnant Samantha, and Madison.

Don't tell Madison, but she's touching Uncle Dave. Since Madison never sees Dave and I, she was pretty intimidated by Dave for awhile. After making faces at eachother for a while, she didn't even realize they were friends :)

Sam, enjoying his pig nose.

Dave's first cat, Lucy, who is 18 and still kickin... although maybe for not much longer. Funny thing, she's not really that nice either. So apparently Dave's cats are just mean?

Quid Agis? Chant

This was probably my favorite part of the Recitation. These 1st and 2nd graders chant in Latin. Aaaadooorable. Dave thought it was pretty cute, too.

Poll Results

It was later discovered that the mysterious substance that covered the floor was hot chocolate mix. This explains the wide diameter of gunk, its chocolate smell, and the lack of chocolate-poo.

The end.

Today's Poll

One of three things happened while I was at work:

a) Slider discovered and ate an unknown cashe of chocolate

b) the Christmas tree turned into chocolate, Slider ate some of it, and then it turned back into a tree

c) the cat is made of chocolate and is hiding a missing limb

All of the above would explain the substance I found disbursed over my carpet upon my return home. Which do you think is the cause?

The Graduate

Last week, Slider graduated from Beginner Dog School. We didn't order his school photo, just his class photo.

Slider, annoying small dog, Sikx, the sweetest lovingest pitbull ever.

Instructor, Philip, who states Slider's ready for Intermediate classes... :)

Winter Weddings

We attended a wedding on the one year anniversary of our wedding. Drew and Jeanette had a wonderful Catholic wedding at the NAS Chapel.

In my return route from Germany, I landed in Cleveland, OH, for my cousin, Jessica's, wedding! I had a great time with my mom, aunts, and cousins. I even saw snow!

Outside Nurenberg.

For Scott's birthday we took the train to Nurenberg to make a "pub crawl" trough the two Irish bars in town. It was a great time! (Don't worry, Diane, i didn't post the picture of you and Scott asleep on the train on the way home!)

Scott and his beer.

Diane and I with ours.

We found purchasing a pitcher was more economical.

We spent hours working in the basement and on photos from the previous Ball. Scott and I watched movies while Diane worked after dinner. I helped the kids with math homework -which means they might be worse off. I loved spending time with my family overseas!
