1/2 Marathon!

Some friends and I are signing up to run the Rock&Roll 1/2 Marathon in Las Vegas. This will be especially cool because it is at night on The Strip. This will be especially daunting since I haven't run more than two miles since high school. As a result, here is my training schedule:

The race is December 4th, so we've allowed plenty of time for training. Our plan is to drive up Friday afternoon, go out on Friday night, recover by the pool on Saturday, run the Half on Sunday, drive back on Monday.

Anyone is welcome to come and cheer us on!

Ski Trip in January

Skiing in Wintergreen. After Dave and I found out we were going to Japan, but before we knew it was only for 9 months, we decided to do somethings on our bucket list. One of them was skiing. Notice the fantastic snowblowers? Definitely not the Alps, but a good day trip.

Winter Weddings

We attended a wedding on the one year anniversary of our wedding. Drew and Jeanette had a wonderful Catholic wedding at the NAS Chapel.

In my return route from Germany, I landed in Cleveland, OH, for my cousin, Jessica's, wedding! I had a great time with my mom, aunts, and cousins. I even saw snow!

SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
