Chigiri-e (chi-geer-ee-eh) is a Japanese art-form using tissue-like paper and glue. The paper is carefully torn and placed to to create this watercolor-like artwork. Below is the one I made. (Yes, I MADE this, with my own two hands!) There is a class at the MWR building twice a month. Next week I will go and make something completely new and different. Booya!
