The Last Beach Day

On Thursday it was 87 degrees in Virginia Beach! (On Friday it was 65...) Becca and I took advantage of the unseasonal temperature to take our babies to the beach one last time. It was absolutely beautiful, and completely empty! Ava enjoyed the beach more than she previously had in August. Slider loved being able to run around and chase a stick into the waves.

Hallowscream w/ the Valdez's!

Two weeks ago Dave and I got the last use out of our Season Pass to Busch Gardens for Hallowscream. We had an awesome time. Although Becca claimed she's not one for roller coasters, we rode the biggest and newest Griffin - which includes a 90degree drop from 250 feet! Very scary! We waited 40 minutes in line for the "Five Pumpkin" fright fest - A haunted house, haunted corn maze, and haunted road. Greg and Dave enjoyed watching Becca and I jump and scream.

One of the best parts was the turkey legs!!

Mmmmmm...Turkey legs...

One of the absolute scariest parts - some of the scarecrows were real people and they would jump out at you! Ahhh creepy!
